LOST TERRITORY WANTED
' SA NFRANCISCO, Alay 7. M. Jan Mazaryk announced that Czechoslovakia is demanding the scrapping of the 1938 Munich- Agreement and claiming lull sovereignty over the Sudentenland and all territory lost to Hitler in that political surrender. German, Hungarian and all other political and racial minorities will he deported from the . borderline area to prevent a second Alunich conference.
Belgium, Holland, Greece, Yugoslavia and Luxembourg have joined Russia and Franco in seeking the services of German and Italian war iwisoners as part of the reparations, reports the United Press. The Western Allies hold more than 3,500,000 German prisoners. The Russians are believed to hold a similar number* The Geneva Convention obliges the repatriation of prisoners within a fixed period after the war, hut Russia has not signed the Convention, hence she is able to hold prisoners indefinitely. This is one explanation why many Germans are preferring to surrender to the Western Allies. The matter is one for the Peace Conference, not Undo.
