FEILDING STOCK SALE
SKELETON YARDING
The first stock sale in Feilding- this year was held today when the entries in all sections were very light. Some 5000 store sheep comprising lambs, 2th wethers and ewes came forward, while in the fat sheep pens the entry was confined to a few pens of wether mutton. No ewes were on offer.
Tnere was a fair offering of station store cattle, but very weak yardings of bonor and dairy cattle, and only a handful of beef cattle.
Prices up to 1 p.m. were: Station' cattle.—l 7 P.A. steers, £7 16s; 30 do., £8 lis; 29 do., £8 19s; 19 do., £8 16s; 19 P.A. cows, £8 7s 6d; 20 do., £8 9s; 24 do , £8 17s; 16 heifers, £5 7s 6d. Store cows: £5 7a. Fat sheep.—Wethers, 11 at 29s Id; 8 at 31s 4d; 11 at 27s lOd; 12 at 28s 7d; 30 at 28s 4d; 90 at 26s 9d. Lambs: 3 at 27s lOd; 3 b.f. at 28s 4d.
Store sheep—24o shorn wether hoggets, at 21s; 124 wethers at 20s 8d; 190 lambs at 18s; 300 do., at 19s: 159 2-th ewes at 28s Id.
