ST. PAUL'S GUILD
A social afternoon was held on Thursday bv members of the St. Paul's Methodist Guild for the purpose ot receiving and dedicating donations in casn lor guild funds, which method takes the place of any money-raising efforts throughout the year. There was a splendid response, well over £7O being received. Several apologies for absence and donations wore si/t in from well-wishers who vvero unable to bo present. An enjoyable programme, which had been ararnged by Mrs Tregurtha, included a pianoforte duet by Patricia Turner and Mary Collis, relations by Mrs Miller and Ngairo Bycroft, vocal 'duets by Mesdames Niven and Miller, and songs by Miss Pollard. The accompanists was Mrs H. Cunninghame. The ofiice-bearers were presented with floral tributes which had been made by Mrs Green. The opportunity was taken to honour the retiring president, Mrs \V. B. Cameron, and she was asked to accept a handsome wall-mirror and shoulder spray, together with best wishes and thanks for her many years of faithi ful service.
