SUPPLYING THE ENEMY
(Rec. 1.40 p.m.) LONDON, April 19,
Two neutral countries have refused the Allied requests to cease sending war supplies to Germany. The Daily Express's Stockholm correspondent reports that Sweden lias formally rejected the British and American request for a cessation of exports of ballbearings to Germany. The Swedish Parliament, in secret session, unanimously approved of the Government's decision.
Portugal lias refused to end her exports of wolfram to Germany.
