PERSONAL
The promotion to the rank of commander of Lieut.-Commander R. S. Cameron, D.S.C. and bar, V.D., H.N.Z.N.V.H., of Auckland, is announced. Commander Cameron was among the first officers to be appointed when the New Zealand Division of the ILN.V.R. was formed in Auckland in 1926. Since 1941 bo has been in command of minesweepers of the Royal Navy.
