RETREATING GERMANS
ROMMEL'S LIKELY PLAN LONDON. Dec. 23. Tho Eighth Army's forward troops, who arc still hard on the heels of Rommel's rearguards, arc giving them no rest, and a Cairo correspondent says that the enemy is being kept on the move all tho time.
It is learned that the Germans are shipping their supplies from Tripolitania to Tunis, indicating that Rommel wants to join forces with the Germans in Tunisia
Router's correspondent thinks that the Eighth Army is unlikely to meet with any strong opposition in Tripolitania.
According to the Official Wireless, General Montgomery in his Christmas message to the Eighth Army said: "It is wonderful what has been achieved since October 23 when we started the Battle of Egypt."
