CALCUTTA'S THIRD RAID
NEW DELHI, Dec. 22
A small number of Japanese planes for tho third time bombed the Calcutta area last night. Damage and casualties are believed to have been slight. A London message states that the second Japanese raid on Calcutta was only a hit-and-run affair made by about six aircraft. Bombs were dropped in one locality, but nothing important was hit. British fighters quickly went into action and the raid was over in 45 minutes.
