Regulations gazetted regulate the advertising which may be undertaken by a registered optjeian. The Minister of Health (Mr Nordmeycr) says that they are designed to place all opticians on the same footing from the advertising point of vie"'. Any form of personal canvassing is forbidden. None, is to advertise that 1)0 gives free consultations or undertakes free sight-testing, gives discounts, or. anything in the nature of time payment. —Press Association.
