RANGIOTU
(From Our Own Correspondent.) ,As the weather has been rather good during the past week or so. JTay-mak-inc and pressing have been very marked with the farmers in the district. This reason it seems that pressing is more in demand, which is of course a very wise idea to adopt. Should the, weather continue to hold good there will be quite" a number of farms Unit will have their hav pressed before Christmas. The activities of the local Homo Guard have undergone a slight change. It has now combined with Oroua Downs and Mr J. Cameron is O.C. with Mr B White second in command. Tho final dance of the Rangiolu Patriotic Committee was quite a success. The order of the evening was cards and dancing. After supper Mr Dixon (chairman of the committee) thanked all present for their patronage, and nLo he donors of various pmes during;j the season's activities.
