TOBRUK BOMBED AGAIN MINOR GROUND SUCCESS LONDON, Oct. 7. An improvement in the weather enabled the Allies to resume their air activities in Egypt and Libya. On Monday night heavy bombers made another raid on Tobruk, and the landing grounds at El Gubi and El Daba were also attacked. Four Allied planes were lost. All- was quiet on the ground yesterday, but on Monday night one of our parties raided an enemy_ strong point and wiped out the garrison. The Official Wireless quotes a Middle East Headquarters message which says there was nothing to report from the land forces on Tuesday, but enemy transport vehicles and camps were attacked from the air. Long-range fighters attacked the seaplane base at Bcmba (between Tobruk and Derna), setting fire to one seaplane and damaging others. Heavy bombers attacked harbour facilities at Benghazi and light bombers started a fire in a petrol dump at El Daba

Near misses were scored on a convoy near Cret-3 by heavy bembers and ona escorting aircraft was shot down.
