NAZIS AND THEIR CRIMES
LONDON, Oct. 7.
Both Britain and America are keeping track of German atrocities and are determined that the instigators p'mll be punished after the war. A joint warning to this effect has been issued. Jn a speech in the House of Lords Lord Simon said the United Nations would set up a commission which would investigate the crimes perpetrated by the enemy. It was not the British desire to hold mass executions, but to place the blame where it belonged. He thought that the culprits should be handed over before and as a condition of an armistice. President Roosevelt has expressed the willingness of the United States to co-operate with Britain to bring the criminals to justice. He said that, crimes were still being committed.
