SMALL NAVAL FIGHT
ENEMY VESSEL SUNK. LONDON, Oct. 6. At about midnight British light naval craft attacked a strong enemy force consisting of torpedo-boats and E-boats off the Belgian coast. One E-boat was set on fire and later blew up. One of the British ships is missing and some of the others sufficred superficial damage. Casualties were slight.
