THE CONVOY TO RUSSIA
LONDON, Sept. 24.. The British commodore of tho big convoy that ,reached Russia a . few clays ago is visiting Moscow. Ho said that for eight days the convoy was attacked by torpedo-carrying aircraft,
high-level bombers, dive-bombers and “shoals of submarines.” He would not be surprised, be said, if at least 50 of tho enemy machines were destroyed.
