PATRIOTIC SHOP.
The Townswomen’s Guild (Mrs K. Manning in charge) had the patriotic- shop last week, and a mattress donated through Messrs Collinson find Cunninghnmo, where it lias been on view, was a popular com-! petition, receipts being £54, of which £44 was from tickets sold by Messrs Collinson and Cuiminglia-me. The total receipts for the week were £65. A bag of flour donated by the guild was also run as a competition. Thanks are duo to Messrs Collinson and Cunninghanio and to all who donated goods and cash. St. Patrick’s parish has the shop this week. Mrs S. J. Parlces is visitor for tlio shop committee. In last week’s - acknowledgment of goods for competition, the hag of sugar was donated by Airs E. O. Traill and Airs G. I. AieGregor.
