RUGBY FOOTBALL.
WANGANUI TEAM’S VISIT. Fast and open football, with' sirong forward play, should be seen at the Sportsground on Saturday in the meeting of the Wanganui and Manawatu representative teams. The Manawatu team should bo able to throw the ball about well and improve even on the high standard set in the club matches. Several changes have been made in the home side, the most interesting being the inclusion of Wishnowsky. the 17 year-old Kia Tea back. Ilis play in the senior grade this season has marked him out and a representative jersey hn= come to him. His defensive play has been remarkable and he should do well on Safurdav Other fresh pi avers have been brought into the side also and tho resultant team should I>c able lo fulfil expectations. The curtain-raiser will be between tho Manawatu fourth grade team and the Wanganui third grade side.
