The work of the Ceylon and India general mission was illustrated at a lantern lecture given in the Baptist Hall, last evening, by Dlr It. Hcslop, who is home on furlough from India. Mr Heslop’s remarks dealt mainly with mission work in Southern India and the difficulties experienced tl.lre in the teaching of Christianity.
