SUPREME COURT.
In (he Supreme Court, vesterilav. Donald Thompson, aged 48. baker’s van 'driver, of -Marton, was brought forward lor retrial on a charge of indecent assault, at Marlon, on Juno 7, and, alternatively, with common assault, this second count arising from the same circumstances. The Cliiofr Justice (Rt Hon. Sir Alichaol Myers) presided and a jury of 12 was empanelled. Die foreman being Air 1. P. Hart. Air 11. R. Cooper conducted the case for tile Crown and Air A. Al. Onglcv (with him Air K. A. Williams, of Alarton) appeared for accused. The Court was cleared for the hearing of evidence. After a retiment of a lit t o over an hour, the jury returned a verdict of not guilty.
