Miss Margaret Eentoul, of Chureher Street, Feilding, has taken up training duties in the Palmerston North Hospital. -Mrs V. Short, of Highfield Road, Feilding, is visiting her sister, Mrs W. Beedic, of Dannevirkc. Miss Anne Fawcett has left to spend some weeks with relatives in Auckland and wil'. also visit Tongariro National Park. Visitors to Feilding this week wev? Sister Rona Howorts, of Wanganui, and Sister Preston-Thomas, late masseuse of the Memorial Hospital, Hastings. These sisters, whilst on furlough from Egypt, are paying a round »of visits to friends and relatives in. the North Island. Mr and Mrs C. J. Check, of Araninlio, have received advice that their youngest son, Private Reuben Victor Cheek, is missing after N.Z.E.F. operations in Crete. Going overseas with the Third Echelon, he served both in Greece and Crete. He is 22 years of ago and was well known in the Bulls and Feilding districts.
