Referring to the Home Guard training in Feilding. Mr T. K. Hay. battalion commander', stressed the advantages to be gained by physical culture classes which are being held each week. To guardsmen ho commended the instruction given and expressed his hope that more niemebers would avail themselves of the facilities provided The Country Library Service van called at the Feilding library yesterday, when a large number of books were changed. It was stated by the librarian (Mr It. \\. H. Wood] that the field librarian was .very gratified at the amazing number of issues That Feilding was receiving from the service, which indicated that the interest in the facilities offered here is rapidly growing.
