Alesdanies 11. Silson and At. Rodgers had carried out the dccora--1 lions. Sympathy was expressed with | Alesdanies C. Speight and Alayo, who have recently suffered bereavements, and also with Airs Kemp, whose son r has been reported missing oil active service. Thanks were conveyed to Mesdahies H. E. T ownsliend and Alorgau for gifts of books and magazines for lighthouse keepers. Good wishes for a happy meeting were extended on beliait of Mrs K. D.vmoek, former president. The happy thought was presented by Airs Alayo. A oca I duets were given by Alesdanies Miller and Pearce and vocal solos by Mrs F. AlcLaclilan. The chair also contributed items. Pastor Stirling gave an interesting talk on the colourful life of the late Sir William Grenfell, recounting his many adventures in his medical capacity in Labrador, particularly with the fishing licet, his practical interest in the Boys’ Brigade, also his part in inaugurating summer camps for hoys from slum areas in London and elsewhere This great man died recently fn* his little home in Labrador. Mrs Sorensen thanked the speaker for his address and Airs Glendiiming thanked the performers and hostesses, j Shoulder sprays were presented to j 1 chose who had provided the entertainment, Pastor Stirling receiving a buttonhole, and Airs S. J. Parkcs (liresident) presented sprays to Alesdanies Sorensen and Stewart, thanking them for their efforts. The door hostesses | wore Alesdanies Bragg and Watkins aiul the tea conveners were Alesdanies i Gillies and Fabrin, their helpers being Alesdanies Cox, Chapman. Korney, Lav, Liddell. Morgan. AleLaehlaii, Nielsen, Oliver, Pullyn and Noffke.
