FIXED DEPOSIT RATES.
(Press Assn.) WELLINGTON, July 16 The Associated Banks announce that interest rates on fixed deposits received or renewed on or after July 17 (to-morrow) are as under:—Three months and under six, -J per cent, per annum; six months and under twelve, lj per cent.; twelve months and under 24; 12 per cent.; twenty-four months, 2 pei' cent. The only alteration is that the twelve months to 24 months' rate is. reduced by a half per cent.
