NO TRUCE OR PARLEY

PREMIER REAFFIRMS STAND RESOUNDING BLOWS FOR NAZIS (United Press Association.—Copyright.—Rec. 10.15 a.m.) LONDON, July 14. The Prime Minister (Mr Churchill) spoke at a luncheon given by the London County Council following a parade of the Civil Defence Forces today. He devoted his opening remarks to a tribute to London's response to the German attacks and said that, although there had been a lull in the enemy air attacks recently, plans had been made to meet even worse raids in the future. Britain could lake it, said Mr Churchill, and would return it two-fold and four-fold, month upon month and year upon year, if necessary, until the Isiv/a rep-imc was exterminated or torn to pieces by the German people.

It was time the Germans in their homeland suffered as Londoners had suffered. The It.A.F. had dropped over Germany in recent raids half the tonnag-e of bombs dropped over Britain since the otitbreak of the war. He had asked the Ministers concerned to prepare for the autumn and for the winter for ihe same ordeal as last year, only rather worse.

"We shall have no truce or parley with Hitler or his o-rizzly g-an°.' who do Hitler's wicked worst. "We say: 'Deal out your worst! We will do our best!" declared the Prime Minister.
