WAR SERVICE

WOMEN’S AUXILIARY. A meeting of the Feilding branch of the Women’s War Service Auxiliary was held yesterday, Mrs R. E. Seddon presiding. Also present were Mesdames R. H. Buchanan, J. H. Low, W. G. Short, J. Sporle, J. Adams, E. Scott (secretary) and Miss Grabbe. A letter was received from headquarters, in response to a query irom the branch, to the effect that ail women doing war work, also E.P.S. work, should register with the W.W.S.A., from whoso ranks the E.P.S. would draw in the case of an emergency arising lor its assistance. Various sub-committees were sot up, and it is hoped to commence canteen and cycle corps classes very soon. Physical and military drills wili be held shortly. A welcome was extended to Mrs Adams, who is tile Government's nominee cm the committee, vice Mrs C. L. Hunter, who has left the district.
