Parishioners of St. Michael’s and All Angels’ Church last Sunday afternoon held their annual meeting. Archdeacon Petrie presided. The vicar’s report slated that it was pleasing lo record that there had been a decided Improvement in the attendance at the services; in fact never before in the 20 years he had been vicar, bad the congregations been as good. A very acceptable gift of an organ was made to the church by Mrs Jefferies. Unfortunately the church had not yet been able to secure the services of a local organist. “Wc have no Sunday school at St an way, but a number of children arc being instructed under the mail bag system,” flic report added. “1 wish to thank Mrs Parsons, the secretary and the members of the local committee for assistance rendered and those, ladies who have atended to the cleaning of the church.” Mrs Parsons was re-elected secretary and Archdeacon Petrie treasurer. The former committed was reelected, two new members being added, Mrs S. Younger and Mr A. Marshall. At a euchre party hold by the Women’s Institute the prize-winners were Mrs Whitehead 1, Miss Jean Rosser 2. Mr H. Humphrey 1, Mr J. Whitehead 2. . /
