FLOUR FOR FRANCE.
WASHINGTON, March 22. The Assistant-Secretary of State (Mr Sumner Welles) announced that the United States had arranged to purchase two shiploads of (lour and send them as a gift to Unoccupied France. The distribution would be under the supervision of the American Red Cross, whose representatives would see that not a single pound of flour or a similar equivalent of foodstuffs reached the occupied zone. Mr Welles said the.
