LONDON, March 22. Friday's closing prices for the following commodities, with those for the previous week in parentheses, were as follow: Rubber, Para. 15d a lb (same) ; plantation smoked ribbed shedt, 14 7-16 d a lb (13|d). Cotton: Liverpool quotation, good American middling, spot, 8.95 d a lb (8.90 d); April delivery, 8.60(1 a lb (8.58 d). Turpentine, 68s 6d a cwt (same).
The price of tin is quoted as follows: Spot, buyers £273 a ton, sellers £273 ss; forward, buyers £270 15s, sellers, £271.
