RANGIOTU SCHOOL PICNIC.

AVeatber conditions were ideal for tlio Rangiotu School Picnic which was held at Foxton Beach. On arrival at the beach an enthusiastic band was quick to indulgein the fun of sea-bathing, which served aJso to increase the appetites for lunch which followed. A life-saving demonstration of resuscitation was given by standard classes to an interested adult audience. At the close of the day Mr I. W. Mudford, a member of Wanganui Education Board, presented prizes to all the pupils, for work during 1940. Mr Rickard. relieving headmaster, expressed at Mr Mudford's attendance.
