Ten charges of obtaining credit by fraud at Timaru, Oamaru and Gore, together with a charge of theft, wore admitted by Earle Shilton alias William McGuire, aged 22, in the Timaru Alagistrate’s Court. The Magistrate sentenced him to six months’ hard labour followed by six months’ reformative detention.—Press Association.
