GENERAL NEWS.
ST. JOHN AMBULANCE. A meeting of the Feilding branch of the St. John Ambulance Association was held on Wednesday, Mr Q. Hausmann presiding. It was resolved that a division be formed in Feilding, and Mr Hausmann was elected superintendent and Mr J. C. Hill secretary. An effort- is to be made to secure the services of Sister B-arltrop for lectures in home nursing. '
Bowling. The Feilding- Bowling Club is tending eight fours to Marton to-morrow for an inter-club game. (Cars lcavo green at 1 o’clock). The players are: Edwards, Dewe, J. Bartholomew, Rodgers (skip); J. Gibson, McColl, Rosoman. Wenham (skip); Watt, Wilton, Saywell, Davidson (skip); Major, McGill, White, Neilsen (skip); G. Bartholomew, Hewitt, Hobday, Rosanoski (skip); Tricklebank, Parker, Notbit, Williamson (skip); Robinson, Siinson. Ingram, Dummer (skip); Downer, Foilett, Fowler, Moore (skip). Tingey, Roach, Phillips and Murch (skip), will represent tho club at the Palmerston North Club. (Car leaves at 1.30).
