WAIPAWA SEAT.
POSSIBILITY OF ELECTION,
Per Press Association. Napier Oct. 8
Indications are that an election will be necessary to fill the Waipawa vacancy. The Labour Party lias decided that if the Nationalists nominate Sergeant J. D. Ormond, a Labour soldier will bo nominated against him, and if a resident of New Zealand stands as a Nationalist Labour will nominate a civilian as his opponent. While this is not officially announced, it is understood to be a true statement of the position.
