MELBOURNE. Oct. 7. A. Brcaslcy will ride Historian in the Caulfield Cup. Scratching 6 for the cup are Landlaw, Bathing Beauty, Liquid Assetand Progony. Pandect returned to Melbourne, looking well after hi 6 Derby win. Reading will arrive at Melbourne on Saturday, and will run in the Caulfield Cup.
Gladyncv has been awarded 7,11 in the Herbert Power Handicap on Saturday.
