MR CLARK AND MRS TRACEY. LONDON Oct. 4. . The release of Mr P. Clark, president of an engineering firm at Plocsti, has been notified to the British tion in Bucharest by the Rumanian Minister of the Interior, after a search made at his home for “certain im portant documents.” Mrs Tracey, the wife of one of the British engineers, has been released. It is learnt that 150 Britons have left the Rumanian oilfields and many have been obliged to leave the coun try. Major Dumitrescu, of the Rumanian army, has been held for questioning about his relations with British oilworkers and also his connection with an aleged sabotage plot. REIGN 0F TERROR. Britons in Rumania are making their own plans to safeguard themselves against the reign of terror introduced fiy a fanatical group in the Iron Guard. <■ ‘ '■ , The Daily Mail’s Bucharest correspondent says the remaining Britons have formed themselves into groups, members of which make contact with one another every four hours to prevent a long period elapsing between disappearances and the beginning of consular inquiries. .
