GENERAL NEWS.
Territorials at Wanganui. A number of Feilding residents visited the Territorial camp at Wanganui yesterday when they found that the appointments were excellent and the men in good spirits. The officers 6peak .in high terms of the general behaviour and military precision of the Feilding Company. Major Johnston mentioned the receipt of £5 from the Mayor (Mr T. L. Seddon), on behalf of the Territorial Association, to be expended in the interests of the Feilding men. Generous Gift. The children of the Taonui School last week conducted a campaign which resulted in the collection of 33£ dozen eggs for th© Willard Home at Palmerston North. The headmaster (Mr C. Haydon) delivered the., gift to the Home on Saturday and was warmly thanked by the committee for the generous gesture on the part of the children. Dental Clinic.
The Feilding schools dental clinic is to have two nurses permanently. Nurse Sproull, who was tho temporary second nurse, has been transferred to Hawera and left on Saturday. The, second permanent appointee is Nurse M. Reed, of Palmerston North, who will take up her duties in a fortnight. Nurse Vondersloot remains in charge of the clinic.
