CHRISTIAN SCIENCE CHURCHES.
“Unreality” was the subject of the Lesson-Sermon in all Churches ol Christ, Scientist, on Sunday. The Golden Text, was Deut. 4:39: “Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, t*at the jLiord He is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath : there is none else.” Among the citations which comprised the Lesson Sermon were the following frOD. the Bible: “Fear thou not; i». t am with thee : be not dismayed ; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right ■hand of My righteousness.” (Isa. 41:10.) Also the following passages from the Christian Science textbook, “Science and Health With Key to the Scriptures,” by Mary Baker Eddy: “The age has not wholly outlived the sense of ghostly beliefs We must give up the spectral at all points. We must not continue to admit the somethingness of superstition, but we must yield up all belief in it and be wise. When we learn that error is not real, we shall be ready for progress, forgetting these things which arc behind.” (p. 353.)
