HILL BILLY DANCE.
It is expected that the Cosmopolitan Hall will be again thronged with dancers when, the Palmerston North Junior Labour Party hold a Hill Billy danoe. Their Hawaiian dance exceeded all expectations, and the members arc making every effort to ensure that the Hill Billy dance will bo an even greater success. Evgry little detail has been planned to suit the occasion. Four of the local leading dance musicians, Messrs M. Creighton, W. Pcre Andre, A. Gariderton and E. Collins, have formed themselves into a Hill Billy band specially for tho occasion. Tho band will render a. number of items on instruments characteristic of the Hill Billies. The hall is being decorated, and patrons will be awarded prizes for the best Hill Billy costumes. Another form of novel supper will be served, arrangements being made to ensure that everyone will be provided with a plentiful supper irrespective of an extraordinarily large attendance.
