Donations to the Alineswccpers’ Comforts Circle have been made by the ioliowing :— Knitting : Tangimoana Ladies Guild and Patriotic Society, Congregational Women's Guild, Aianawatu County Club, Opiki, Longburn, Oroua Downs and Carnarvon Women’s Institutes, Girls’ High School, Red Cross Younger Set, Libertyland, National Club, Mesdames Clay ton, Williams, Henderson, Barraud and Hudson’s Knitting Circles; also Misses Robinson and Richardson, Alesuamca Mason, Rennie, Kinningston, Allen, Bailey, Cook, Wylie, Rankin and many members of committee. Gifts of cake, biscuits, tinned goods and sweets, etc.: Red Cross, Sunshine Club, Aiesdames Guenn (Muranui Ladies’ Guild), Bond and Cook (Awahuri), Heston, Kensington, Whyte, West, Jolly, LeCs, Whitehead, Joblin, Alonrad, Brown, AicKenzie, Bennett, East, Fenton, Bowen (Longburn), Eliott, Forest, Henderson, Airs Hudsons Circle, Lumsden, Alajor, Sinclair and othei members; Aiesdames Rennie and Cody, staff, of Hodder and Tolley, Ltd., Air Alonrad, senr., Mrs Harker and Bridge Club, Airs Akers (Opiki), Mesdames Alartih, Cook, Buxton, Pcgden, Nga Tawa and Christ’s College Committee, Technical School Daffodil Day, Air Ingram, Airs E. L. Barnf. Flannel shirts were made by the Muranui Ladies’ Guild and National Club Sewing Circle. - A scarf was made by Airs Venn, of Shannon, who is 90 years of age. Airs Winks sent writing pads.
