FURRED SKIN SALE.
The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Coy., Ltd., held the third rabbit skin sale of tho season yesterday. First buck realised 90d. a lb.: spotted bucks, 70Jd; winter bucks, 81d.; winter docs, -76? d.; spotted does, 48d.; outgoing does. 49d..: outgoing bucks, 60d.; early winter, 78Jd. The fo'lowing is the range of prices.—Milky, to 24d.; autumns to 34Jd.: incoming, to 51#1.; F.S. and 8.5., 56£d. to 25d.: broken, 46d. to 22d.; outgoing bucks and docs, 60d. to 49d.; spotted bucks, to 70id,; first bucks, to 90d.; weevilly, to 15jd.; ferrets, 12s 3d to 2s 7d. At the first oppossum skin sale of the season a largo catalogue of trappers’ lots was offered. Taking into consideration the present unfavourable conditions of the market because of the war, prices were satisfactory, a good line bringing up to 3s Bd.
