SINKING OF SUBMARINES,

LONDON, Oct. 4

An Admiralty communique this morning says that in the last few weeks units of the British Navy have sunk seven German U-boats and two Italian submarines and damaged others.

The communique added that' the British submarine Osaris torpedoed and sank an Italian destroyer in the Adriatic on September 22.
