TULIP FLOWERS TAKEN.

Flowers blooming in public gardens unfortunately offer an irresistible temptation to some persons, who surreptitiously remove some of the blooms. The tulips now in full flower in the Square have suffered in this respect, and an examination of the stems reveals just how many blooms have been cut by unauthorised persons. The city curator (Mr P. Black") estimates that about half of the tulip flowers have been pilfered.
