MARTON AIRMAN MISSING.

PILOT-OFFICER N. ANDREW. Advice has been received from the Air Ministry by Air and Mrs Isaac Andrew, “Eccleston,” Marton, that their son, Pilot-Officer Neville Halsey Andrew', is reported missing as the result of air operations, and that enquiries are being made through the International Red Cross at Geneva. Air Neville Andrew, w'ho is 2l years of age, was a pupil of the Hokow'hitu School, Palmerston North, in 1930-31, when his parents resided here, his father being lecturer in sheep management at Alaasey College. Subsequently they moved to Alarton, w'here Air Neville Andrew' continued his education at the District High School. He was accepted for the Civil Reserve Air Force m 1937 for two years’ training at the Wanganui Aero Club, and accepted for training' for the Royal Air Force in June, 1939, proceeding to AVigram in September, 1939. He left for England in February of t'his year, and after more advanced training was posted to a bomber squadron. AIAN ACCIDENTALLY KILLED. Per Press Association. AVELLINGTON, Oct. 4. The following casualty was announced to-night: —- Sergeant Clement Patrick Stephen, accidentally killed' in England. His mother is Mrs E. AVareham, of 81 Onepn Road, Lyall Bay, AAfollington.
