Poultry and Pigs. Prices for poultry and pigs realised at the Feilding mart yesterday are:—Poultry: Hens, 2s 3d to 4s 9d; cockerels, 2* 9d; turkey hens, 5s 3d; gobblers, 10s 6d. Pigs; Weaners, £1 6s to £1 9s; small do., £1 Os 6d to £1 4s; slips, £1 lls 6<l to £1 18s 6d; stores, £2 8s; porkers, £2 lls to £2 16s 6d. Patriotic Shop.
Yesterday Airs Ray Bailey and a band of helpers conducted the Feilding Patriotic Shop and donations of foodstuffs, etc., and patronage combined to make for a successful day. The takings amounted to over £25. The results of the competitions are announced olscwhore in this issue. The Feilding Patriotic Society desires to thank the ladies who controlled the shop ami also all of those who made donations and contributed to the success of the effort.
