SAID TO BE NEAR MADAGASCAR. LONDON, Oct. 3. The Berlin radio states that “free” French forces, co-operating with British warships, are cruising in the vicinitv of Madagascar, off the southeast coast of France, preparing an assault, but concerning which there is no confirmation in London.
