DAKAR EXPEDITION.

LONDON, Oct, 1

As a result of leakages of information to the enemy, particularly in connection with General de Gaulle’s Dakar expedition, Britain is henceforth imposing more vigorous restrictions on the entry of persons from occupied and unoccupied France. A message from Madrid says it is reported from Ceuta that two Frenc'h destroyers passed the Straits of Gibraltar to-day and were chased a considerable distance by British warships. It is recalled that yesterday three French destroyers and two merchantmen passed Gibraltar unmolested and entered the Atlantic. The Spanish News Agency later stated that British warships are pursuing the I rench tihips near Ceuta.
