HUGE EXPENDITURE PLANNED

House, said lie was not sponsoring Senator King s Bill to acquire Bntis’h possessions in the Pacific in return for loans and credits. He added that he had not made, and did not expert to make, recommendations regarding Senator King’s proposals, his first knowledge of which came from the morning newspapers. Senator King conceded that there was little possibility of getting the proposal before the Senate. A message from Nassau says that a United States naval mission is expected to reach the Bahamas tomorrow.
