He also said that the church owed a debt to the guilds, and complimented both the Ladies’ Guild and the Ladies’ Auxiliary on their work, thanking them on behalf of the vestry. The stall-holders, he added, were to be congratulated on the excellent stock of goods they liad collected for the bazaar.

The stalls and stallholders were:— Produce, Alisses D’Atli, Deroles and Mrs Ranson; apron and fancy stall, Mrs Malcolm and helpers, sweets, Airs Mewett, Alisses Wallace and Webster; work stall, Alesdames T. R. Aloore and Cutten ; cake stall, Alesdames Roberts, Bennett, and Furneaux; flower stall, Mrs I l '. Sollitt and Aliss Lancaster; tearooms, Airs S. J. Parkes and helpers. Airs Aloore (president) and All’s Cutten (secretary) were in charge of the general arrangements. A satisfactory sum was raised.
