INTERHOUSE BASKETBALL.
The following- are the results of the games played in the interhouso basketbal competitions on AVednesday in, the Y AT.C.A gymnasium: Ladies -A grade: Glaxo 33 v. M.E.S. 9; Galhchan s 16 v. Libertyland 8; P.D.C. won by default from Eclipse. Ladies’ B giado . Manawatu Canvas co. 46 v. ® ° * Bovis 21 v. Exclusive 2; P.D.C. SI v. C.M.R. 8. Men’s grade: Cooks 22 v. P.D.C. 6: Rosco Y’s 16 v. Rascals 2. In the ladies’ A grade the ALE.S. team, which is comprised of former pupils of the Girls’ High School, had the misfortune during the season of losing one of their best players, Aliss _N. Terry, who injured a leg while playing outdoor basketball and consequently was unable to play again. On AVednesday of their leading players. Miss M. Wilson, suffered an indisposition and tlm team was considerably weakened when it was hoped to have been at full strength *°r the match against the well-balanced Glaxo team.
