KAIRANGA.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) ICAIRANGA, Sept. 5. A dance in aid of the school funds was held last night. Music was provided by a professional orchestra, Miss King and Mr Babbitts playing extras. Mr G. Davey acted as M.C. Competitions were won as follows: Gay Gordons, Mrs Staples and Mr G. Sheridan; Monte Carlo. Miss Mansfield and Mr Reynolds; lucky door tickets, Miss King and Mr M. Slattery. Euchre was played in the supper room by tho non-dancers the winners being: Mrs 0. Coll is 1, Mrs A, Divehal! 2, Air K. Prouse 1, Air 0 Collis 2. Flag 500 tournaments in aid of tho hall funds have been commenced, the most rerent winning table being that of Alesdames G. Davey, A. Divehall, Alias M. Collis and Mr R. Shcorin.
