SITUATION IN THAILAND. (British Official Wireless.) Received August 23, 11.35 a.nt RUGBY, Aug._ 22. The TJnder-Secretarv tor Foreign Affairs (Mr 11, A. Butler), m answer to a question in the House ot Commons, said the Foreign Secretary (Lord Halifax) had no information that any Japanese demands had been made to the Government of Thailand (Siam). In consequence, no communication on that subject had been addressedTo that Government by the British Government. The,situation in lhailand was being watched.
