COMMITTEE OF PRIVILEGES. (British, Official Wireless.) Received August 14, 1.18 p.m. RUGBY, Aug. 13. The Committee of Privileges ivlnch has been ordered by the House of Commons to report whether the arrest and detention of Captain Ramsay, M.P., under the Defence Regulations (18B) is a breach of Parliamentary privilege held a second sitting to-day under the chairmanship of Mr G. KAttlee. Sir Gilbert Campion (Clerk of the House of Commons) and Mr P. Allen (assistant-private secretary to Sir John Anderson) were examined. No decision has been taken by the committee as to whether Captain Ramsay will be appearing before it.
