JUNIOR LABOUR DANCE.
To-night, in the Cosmopolitan Hall, Mr Roy Lester will lead a professional band on the occasion of the Junior Labour Party s fortnightly dance. Mr Lester has completed engagements with a number of widely known leading dance bands, including “Sammy Leo’s Americanadians” and “Laurie Paddi’s Radio Band.” The programme will consist of strictly 50-50 modern and old-time dancing. The novelties will include streamer, one slops, lucky Gay Gordons, spot light fox trots, Monto Carlo waltz, Robber one steps, ole. A good supper is being provided, and with the firstclass floor and excellent music, all who attend this function are assured of an enjoyable evening.
